Charity Efforts and a Spin & Go Qualifier
Among the first eight players registered for the event more than 90 minutes prior to the start were PokerStars ambassador Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis and the UK's Jamie "jamienixon90" Nixon, alongside a host of High Roller regulars to whom this event is just one of many big buy-ins throughout the year.
Nixon qualified through a $75 Spin & Go in which the random top prize of the winner-takes-all jackpot SNG was an entry into this very event. Players also had the chance during the World Championship of Online Poker to win seats for similar high stakes tournaments.
As far as Veldhuis is concerned, the Dutchman returns to online poker after a break with charity streams and will be raising money for the Lewis Body Dementia, the illness his father suffered from. All cashes in this event will be donated to charity and PokerStars will also contribute all rake generated in tomorrow's $215 Mini EPT Online Super High Roller for the same cause as well.
