Gab Yong Kim Eliminated in 9th Place (€74,770)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Gaby Livshitz opened the action with a raise to 80,000 from under the gun with the {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Gab Yong Kim three-bet out of the small blind for 315,000. Chip leader Norbert Szecsi four-bet out of the big blind to 825,000 and Livshitz quickly got out of the way.

Kim gave it some consideration and moved all in for 3,155,000 in total. That immediately sent Szecsi into the think tank with his hand into the head. He made the call half a minute later, then shook his head right away.

Gab Yong Kim: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Norbert Szecsi: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Kim was a four-to-one favorite heading into the showdown but the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop gave Szecsi a flush draw to improve to 11 outs. Nothing changed with a blank {4-Spades} turn but the {j-Diamonds} on the river improved Szecsi to a winning flush.

From potentially losing a big portion of his stack, Szecsi suddenly moved into a commanding lead with 275 big blinds, more than two times of his nearest follower. Kim's run ends in 9th place and he takes home €74,770.
