Grieco Loses Even More Chips

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Nicola Grieco
Nicola Grieco

Viktor Katzenberger raised to 225,000 with the {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} on the button and Ryan Riess defended out of the big blind with {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. The flop brought {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Riess checked, immediately facing a bet of 160,000. That did the trick for Katzenberger, as Riess quickly released his cards into the muck.

Nicola Griecp opened to 220,000 first to act with the {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Manig Loeser flat-called the button with {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, as did Wei Huang in the big blind with {a-Hearts}{2-Spades} The flop brought {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Huang checked, Grieco bet 220,000 and Huang was the only caller.

The {10-Hearts} followed on the turn and Huang checked his top and bottom pair once more. Grieco fired a second bet of 400,000 and Huang called. The {8-Diamonds} river was checked and Huang claimed the pot to pile more misery on Grieco.
