Who Will Win the €5,200 PLO Single-Day High Roller
As of 2 p.m. local time, the 2019 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour will provide all lovers of "the great game" of Pot-Limit Omaha a chance to showcase their talents at the tables, as the €5,200 PLO Single-Day High Roller will determine a champion at The Monte-Carlo Sporting.
Expected to be among those to take a seat and battle for the trophy is Imad Derwiche, who already won two PLO Events in Monte-Carlo in the last two years, one of which came in the €10,300 version of this very event that ran over two days in 2017. Sylvain Loosli finished third and Ami Barer, Dominykas Karmazinas and Mike Watson were also among those to cash. Loosli was eliminated in the Main Event already, whereas Barer, Karmazinas and Watson entered Day 2 with a decent stack and may skip the PLO action after all.
For those that wish to join the action, the registration remains open until approximately 7.15 p.m. local time and the event will play 30-minute levels throughout with a starting stack of 50,000 in chips. A single re-entry can be purchased during the registration period and the event will play down to a champion tonight.
The PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor to cover all the action, so make sure to tune back in regularly and find out who claimes the PLO Single-Day High Roller title here at the French Riviera.
