Munoz Can't Pull the Trigger

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

In an already massive pot between Bart Lybaert (under the gun) and Ramon Miquel Munoz (button), the pot was up to around half a million when Lybaert checked the river to Miquel on a {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} board. Miquel spent about two minutes in the tank before checking behind.

Lybaert revealed and {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Miquel, visibly dissatisfied, mucked his hand.

Mitrache Building Higher

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Alin Mitrache raised to 55,000 from the cutoff and Georgios Karakousis three-bet to 150,000 from the big blind. Mitrache added the remainder to call.

The flop fell {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Karakousis threw in a bet of 120,000 that Mitrache called. The turn was the {9-Spades} and was checked through to the {j-Hearts} river. Both players checked again. Karakousis showed {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a pair of jacks and Mitrache tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of kings to win the pot.

Ah-Line Down With Jacks

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ramon Miquel Munoz found {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} in the hijack and after a series of raises, he got it in the middle against the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} of Alberto Ah-Line. Ah-Line had less than Munoz and was at risk of elimination but the {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop gave him some hope.

He did not hit despite the extra outs he gained on the flop after the {q-Diamonds} turn and {7-Diamonds} river fell.

Anthony Zinno raised on the button and called off a few extra crumbs from Serge Candin, who stuck it in from the big blind.

Serge Candin: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Anthony Zinno: {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The board fell {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Candin got himself back to about ten big blinds.

"I run so bad," the overwhelming chip leader remarked, prompting chuckles from around the table.

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Joonas Helin sat in the small blind and started the hand with 435,000 in front of him. Steven Tool: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} and the pot was awarded to Helin who out flopped Tool.
