Jack Salter Eliminated in 7th Place (€164,000)

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jack Salter
Jack Salter

Jack Salter pushed all in first to act for the last 450,000 and Alex Foxen on the button asked for a count, then called. Benjamin Pollak and Jean-Noel Thorel in the big blind both released their cards and the showdown came as follows:

Jack Salter: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Alex Foxen: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

"Could be five spades," Salter predicted and was almost right as the board came {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}. Salter was drawing dead on the turn and received €164,000 for his efforts.

Pollak Takes From Davies; Foxen From Thorel

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Seth Davies raised to 60,000 and Benjamin Pollak called in the big blind. On the {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, Pollak check-called a small bet and did so again for 180,000 on the {Q-Spades} turn. The {Q-Clubs} river was checked by Pollak and Davies checked behind to get shown {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for trips queens by Pollak.

One hand later, Alex Foxen raised to 65,000 and Jean-Noel Thorel called in the big blind. The {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop brought no betting action and Thorel led the {8-Diamonds} turn for 150,000. Foxen moved all in and Thorel asked how much more the all in was for. Foxen's jam was for another 190,000 on top and Thorel let one time bank expire before sending his cards into the muck.

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thorel then raised to 75,000 and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau moved all in from the small blind for 380,000. Thorel seemed interested but folded. Vaskaboinikau collected some more chips the next hand with a button raise to 100,000, which found no resistance.

Jan-Eric Schwippert Eliminated in 8th Place (€127,200)

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jan-Eric Schwippert
Jan-Eric Schwippert

Ryan Riess on the button made it 60,000 to go and Jan-Eric Schwippert called in the big blind. After a flop of {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Schwippert checked and Riess bet 60,000. Schwippert check-raised all in for what appeared to be 350,000, and the instant call of Riess followed.

Jan-Eric Schwippert: {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Ryan Riess: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

Riess was ahead with his overpair, but Schwippert had plenty of outs with the flush draw and gutshot. However, it wasn't meant to be for the German, who bricked on the {6-Spades} turn and {5-Spades} river run out. Schwippert was eliminated in 8th place and takes home €127,200.
