Pardo Dominguez Eliminated in 14th Place; Money Bubble Bursts

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Juan Pardo Dominguez
Juan Pardo Dominguez

Juan Pardo Dominguez has just been eliminated in 14th place and burst the money bubble in the process.

Pardo Dominguez limped for 30,000 from the hijack and the action folded to chipleader Matthias Eibinger in the small blind, he thought for nearly all of his available 30 seconds before he picked up a large amount of 25,000 chips enough to put Pardo Dominguez all in and he snap-called.

Juan Pardo Dominguez: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Matthias Eibinger: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Pardo Dominguez was ahead and favorite for a double up with the flop falling {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}. The turn {k-Clubs} gave Eibinger the nut flush draw, and when the river was revealed to be the {5-Clubs}, he stole the pot from Pardo Dominguez's grasp and a gasp echoed around the table.

Pardo Dominguez exited in 14th to burst the money bubble and leave the remaining 13 players guaranteed a minimum cash worth €45,620.

Eibinger further increased his chip lead and will be a big favorite for victory when the players return in one hours time after their dinner break.

Nemeth Hits Nut Flush

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Chin Wei Lim raised to 65,000 from the cutoff and both Andras Nemeth, in the small blind, and Vladimir Troyanovskiy, in the big blind, called.

The flop fell {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and all three players checked. The turn brought the {7-Diamonds}, and Troyanovskiy bet 85,000 after Nemeth had checked. Lim folded, and Nemeth called before the river card was the {3-Diamonds}.

The action was checked to a showdown, and Troyanovskiy mucked after Nemeth revealed {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the flopped nut flush.

Eibinger In the Lead

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Matthias Eibinger has been very active during the bubble period and that has paid off, as the Austrian vaulted into a big lead over the rest of the field.

Eibinger raised to 70,000 on the button and Jean-Noel Thorel called out of the small blind. They checked the {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and Thorel bet the {8-Clubs} turn for 100,000, Eibinger called. Thorel bet once more for 100,000 on the {J-Clubs} river and Eibinger quickly announced the call.

Thorel showed {A-Spades}{3-Spades} for the busted nut flush draw and Eibinger claimed the pot with {J-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for trips jacks.

Dattani Doubles Once More

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 65,000 from the cutoff, and Michel Dattani moved all in for 225,000 from the small blind, which Troyanovskiy called after 30 seconds of thought.

Michel Dattani: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Vladimir Troyanovskiy: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

Board: {5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

Dattani was in a race for his tournament life and took the lead on the flop when he hit top pair ace. The turn and river were both deuces to give Dattani two pair, and he once again secured a double up as the money bubble hand-for-hand play continues.

Dattani Doubles Through Lefrancois

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 65,000 first to act and was called by Andras Nemeth in the big blind. On the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} flop, Nemeth checked and folded to a bet of 50,000 by Troyanovskiy.

"One time," Dan Smith demanded and Troyanovskiy obliged, flashing the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for a flopped full house to cause laughter on the table.

The next hand, Pascal Lefrancois raised to 60,000 first to act and Michel Dattani moved all in for 105,000 from one seat over. Lefrancois called and the showdown took place once table two was finished.

Michel Dattani: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Pascal Lefrancois: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board came {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and the kicker played to let Dattani double on the bubble.

Salman Behbehani: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Matthias Eibinger: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Board: {j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Behbehani was in good shape with his dominating hand and hit top pair on the flop. The turn gave him trips, and the river gave Behbehani the nuts to move up to 125,000 on the money bubble.
