Negreanu and Kenney Scoop Early Pots After Dinner

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu raised to 60,000 on the button and Adrian Mateos called in the big blind. They checked down a board of {5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Clubs}{Q-Spades} entirely and Mateos showed a king. Negreanu scooped the pot and said "my king is better" after tabling {K-Spades}{J-Spades}.

Cary Katz then made it 60,000 to go first to act and Bryn Kenney called in the big blind. The flop came {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Kenney checked, then called 100,000 by Katz. There was no action on the {A-Clubs} turn and Kenney check-called a bet on the {8-Spades} river to see Katz show {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}, which he had beat with {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.
