Big Bet Poker by Winter
Level 1
: 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Sean Winter defended his big blind against a raise by Nick Petrangelo and the action was picked up on the turn, on which Winter bet 10,500 and was called by Petrangelo. The fell on the river and Winter now bet 50,000, more than what was in the pot, which won the pot uncontested. Petrangelo gave it some thought, but eventually flicked his cards into the muck.
David Peters opened to 2,500 first to act and Jean-Noel Thorel called out of the big blind. On the flop, Thorel checked and called a bet of 2,000 before doing so again for 7,500 on the turn. On the river, Thorel checked once more and Peters bet 32,000to force a fold from the Frenchman.
