Plesuv Wins a Bit

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Andras Nemeth, who won the first small hand back from break, opened the small blind for 85,000. Big blind Pavel Plesuv called to see a flop.

Nemeth bet 75,000 on {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Plesuv called. They both checked the {K-Clubs} on the turn before the {A-Hearts} completed the board. Nemeth checked and Plesuv bet 80,000. Nemeth cut out 80,000, thought about it for a bit, and placed the call right in front of Plesuv like he already knew he was saying goodbye to those chips. Plesuv showed {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Nemeth mucked.

Three in a Row for Nemeth

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

1) Andras Nemeth raised to 55,000 from the hijack and Charlie Carrel three-bet to 175,000 from the button and the blinds folded. Nemeth called and they both checked {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. The {5-Clubs} hit the turn and Nemeth took it down with a bet of 275,000.

2) Nemeth opened to 55,000 under the gun plus one and Pavel Plesuv called from the hijack. Liang Xu called from the big blind and checked to Nemeth on {2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}. Nemeth continued for 100,000 and Plesuv folded, Xu called. Xu checked again on the {A-Diamonds} turn and instantly folded as soon as Nemeth made a bet.

3) Nemeth opened to 55,000 under the gun and everyone folded, including Jan Schwippert who used a time bank card before coming to his decision.

Xu Turns It

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Liang Xu opened to 60,000 in middle position and got two callers. He bet just 30,000 on the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} and both Matthias Eibinger in the cutoff and big blind Charlie Carrel continued. On the {8-Hearts} turn, Xu bet much bigger with 155,000 and only Eibinger stuck around. Both quickly checked the {10-Hearts} river and Xu announced a straight.

Eibinger shook his head in disappointment but then nodded upon seeing it was a turned straight: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

"I was thinking I was ahead and you rivered me," he said.

Eibinger Gets Three Streets of Value With Flopped Nut Flush

Matthias Eibinger

Matthias Eibinger opened under the gun for 60,000 and Liang Xu called from the big blind. Xu checked on {8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and called the 55,000 bet that followed.

Xu check-called another 120,000 on the {Q-Spades} turn and checked again on the {K-Spades} river. Eibinger took his time before verbally announcing 385,000 once the timer had reached five seconds.

Xu needed two time bank cards before he eventually tossed in a single chip to call. Eibinger showed {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the flopped flush with a redraw to the straight flush. Xu mucked.

Nemeth Sliding

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Andras Nemeth lost a series of pots in preflop battles. Several times he either raised and got three-bet or shoved on, or three-bet himself and still got shoved on.

Finally he saw a river after Matthias Eibinger opened to 60,000 in middle position and he came along for a board of {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} as they checked down. On the river, Eibinger finally bet 145,000 and Nemeth called, mucking to {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for trips.

Nemeth Right With a "Queen-High"

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

While not technically queen-high, the call from Nemeth just now was still met with some excitement by onlookers on the rail.

Luc Greenwood opened the hijack for 50,000 and small blind Andras Nemeth called. Big blind Pavel Plesuv over called to make it three-handed to the flop.

All three checked on {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} before Nemeth bet out 115,000 on the {3-Spades} turn. Plesuv called, Greenwood folded.

The {9-Spades} completed the board and Nemeth checked. Plesuv bet 175,000 and Nemeth called right before he ran out of time. Plesuv showed {6-Spades}{7-Spades} for the missed open-ended, Nemeth took it down with the {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

Nemeth Binks River

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Matthias Eibinger bet 140,000 on a completed board of {9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} after he opened cutoff and got called by Andras Nemeth on the button. They had checked to the river. Nemeth raised to 440,000 and Eibinger immediately called.

"Fours," Nemeth said, showing the sailboats for a rivered set.

"Good thing he didn't ask for a count," Luc Greenwood said. "You told him your hand."

Andras Nemeth opened to 60,000 in the cutoff and Jan Schwippert defended his big blind with an all-in shove for around 500,000. Nemeth called and tabled {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}, finding himself in a dominating spot against {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

The board ran out {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, so Nemeth dodged a turned straight draw to burst the bubble.

The six remaining players are now guaranteed €134,440 ($152,189).

Plesuv Doubles Through Nemeth

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Pavel Plesuv opened under the gun for 65,000 and big blind Andras Nemeth called. Nemeth checked to his neighbor on {4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Plesuv answered with a bet of 75,000. Nemeth check-raised to 250,000 and Plesuv ran down his clock before he called.

The {4-Spades} hit the turn and Nemeth checked. Plesuv bet 150,000 with 660,000 behind. Nemeth shoved all in and Plesuv used his clock again to the fullest before he called for 810,000 total.

Pavel Plesuv: {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Andras Nemeth: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

The {2-Spades} on the river was a good card for Plesuv and he doubled up.
