Hecklen Wins Flip; Spindler Doesn't

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Henrik Hecklen was all in and at risk for just under 20 big blinds with the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and had a coin flip against the {a-Clubs}{K-Spades} of Javier Gomez Zapatero. By the {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} turn, Hecklen had an unbeatable full house and Gomez Zapatero was left with a mere dust.

One hand later, Benny Spindler shoved for his last 16,200 from early position and the action folded to Rocco Palumbo in the big blind. The Italian called instantly.

Benny Spindler: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Rocco Palumbo: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The board came {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Spindler lost his coin flip. The German, former EPT Main Event champion, may be back in action soon or before the start of Day 2 though, as the single re-entry is possible before the cards get back in the air tomorrow.

Tamer Kamel on the same table waited patiently with his tiny stack and has since gotten back to starting stack.
