Good Start for Carrel; Kolonias Takes Some
Level 1
: 100/200, 25 ante
"He is not speaking to me," Charlie Carrel said and referred to table neighbor and fellow Brit Ben Heath. "Do you want the hand history where I bet the river, he calls and I show the nuts and rub it in his face for five minutes?" Carrel joked further. The next hand had already started and Alexandros Kolonias raised, Alexander Zayonts called on the button as did Carrel in the small blind.
On the flop, Carrel checked and Kolonias bet 1,000, Zayonts and Carrel called. After the turn, Carrel checked again and Kolonias bet 3,000. Zayonts folded, but Carrel wanted to see another card and tossed in the chips. The on the river completed the board and Carrel checked, Kolonias claimed the pot with a third barrel worth 7,000.
