Kolonias Doubles

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Andre Akkari shoved a short stack with {7-}{4-} off suit into the {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} of Alexandru Kolonias and failed to get there and the Greek just scored a double up through former big stack Mikita Badziakouski as well. A pot of around 140,000 chips had emerged until the river {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Kolonias shoved for 124,000.

Badziakouski made the call but soon found out the bad news, as his opponent had made the nut flush with {A-Spades}{9-Spades} to double through.

Oliver Price also departed, reducing the field to the last 39 only.
