Zinno's Bluff Fails

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

[Removed:2] gave up a pot to table neighbor Alexandru Papazian in a battle of the blinds and soon after, Alexandros Kolonias made it 100,000 to go from under the gun. Papazian called on the button as did Anthony Zinno in the big blind. The flop fell {J-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Zinno checked, Kolonias checked as well.

Papazian then bet 150,000 and Zinno check-raised to 375,000. Only Kolonias called and faced a bet worth 275,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn. The Greek called before the {8-Diamonds} river completed the board. Zinno's bet of 145,000 sent Kolonias into the think tank and he asked the dealer twice for the amount.

Taking off the sunglasses and looking ad the bet sizing again, he took another minute and the hand lasted well five minutes into the break before Kolonias called. Zinno rolled over {5-Spades}{3-Spades} for a busted straight and flush draw. "Ace high?" Zinno asked and Kolinias then flipped over his {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. "I got the bet wrong," Kolonias admitted before raking in the chips.

Kolonias Finds a Double

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Alexandros Kolonias open-shoved for 960,000 from the hijack and Alexandru Papazian asked for the count before announcing a call from the small blind.

Kolonias: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Papazian: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and the Greek doubled up.

One hand later, Kolonias opened to 100,000 and called the three-bet to 255,000 by [Removed:2] from two seats over. On the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, Kolonias check-folded to a continuation bet worth 255,000.

Max Silver Eliminated in 7th Place (€202,050)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Max Silver

Max Silver raised to 100,000 under the gun with 5,000 left behind, and the action folded to Zvi Stern on the button.

"You don't have much behind, right?" Stern asked Silver, who had exactly one chip left behind.

About a minute went by, and Stern said, "I think you're bluffing."

"Did you look at your cards?" Stern asked Alexandru Papazian in the big blind.

Silver interfered and expressed that Stern was not allowed to discuss this. Stern apologized and ultimately had the clock called on him.

In the end, Stern folded, and Papazian put Silver all in from the big blind.

Silver: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Papazian: {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and, despite flopping a pair, Silver got knocked out when Papazian made two pair thanks to the river card.

Maksoud Wins Big Flip Against Silver

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

The action started with a raise to 110,000 by [Removed:2] in the hijack and Alexandru Papazian three-bet to 255,000 from one seat over. Max Silver then four-bet all in for 1,420,000 and Maksoud also went in with the slightly inferior stack. Papazian asked for a count on both opponents and mucked his cards after some consideration:

Maksoud: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Silver: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The {K-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} flop improved Maksoud to a pair of kings and he remained in the lead thanks to the {5-Clubs} turn and {4-Hearts} river to score a double up for 1,295,000.

Moraes Doubles Through Silver

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Alexandru Papazian opened to 125,000 and Zvi Stern then three-bet all in for 765,000 to claim the pot uncontested.

One hand later, Anthony Zinno made it 125,000 to go and folded to the shove of [Removed:2] in the small blind.

Maksoud raised the button to 110,000 and Max Silver defended to check-fold a flop of {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. The very next hand, the action folded around to Silver and he open-shoved the small blind. Rafael Da Silva Moraes called in the big blind and the cards were tabled.

Moraes: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}
Silver: {K-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The flop came {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{6-Spades} and top pair met a gutshot and nut flush draw. On the {Q-Clubs} turn, Moraes had locked up the double with his straight, making the {6-Diamonds} river a formality. The Brazilian doubled for 780,000 and that cost Silver one third of his stack.
