Raouf Fades Draw; Doubles

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

It started with a raise to 7,000 by Igor Kurganov and Ibrahim Raouf called from one seat over. Thomas Muehloecker called and Andrew Lichtenberger then squeezed to 40,000 out of the big blind. Kurganov quickly folded, Raouf called and Muehloecker also let go.

On the {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, Lichtenberger made it 35,000 to go and Raouf shoved for 157,200 to pick up a call and be at risk on his second bullet:

Raouf: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Lichtenberger: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

Any king or diamond would result in the exit for Raouf, but he dodged both thanks to the {9-Hearts} turn and {J-Spades} river.
