Iliodoros Kamatakis Doubles Through Benjamin Pollak

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Benjamin Pollak raised to 55,000 from early position and was three-bet by Iliodoros Kamatakis for all but 1,000 of his remaining 154,000. The remaining players folded, although some thought long and hard about it, before Benjamin Pollak called.

"You put this one in now?" asked Kamtakis.

"Later," replied Pollak.

Pollak put the 1,000 chip in on a {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board and the cards were turned over. Kamatakis held {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Pollak {k-Spades}{2-Spades}. The turn was the {7-Hearts} and the river the {j-Clubs} ensuring the double up for Kamatakis.

Kamatakis was all in the very next hand 373,000, and took down the blinds and antes.

Aliaksei Boika Eliminated by Oleksii Khoroshenin

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Oleksii Khoroshenin raised to 44,000 from the hijack and Aliaksei Boika three-bet all in for his remaining 376,000. Khoroshenin thought before calling.

Boika turned over {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} while Khoroshenin held {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

The flop was {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}, and with the {5-Hearts} on the turn it looked like Boika was going to secure an early double up, but the river was the {j-Hearts}, sending the Belarussian to the rail, and bolstering Khoroshenin's stack.
