Set Over Set Ends Bussman's Tournament

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Adrian Bussman
Adrian Bussman

The entire board was out there already as {2-Clubs}{A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} was displayed.

A disappointed Adrian Bussman was getting up from the table and sympathy showed his {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. His opponent, Oleksii Khoroshenin, had {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} in front of him and was getting all the chips in the middle.

We missed most of the action, but again Wilfried Sigmund Harig filled us in afterwards. Harig told us that Bussman had opened pre flop and Khoroshenin had three bet from the button. Bussman called and check called all three streets, just to be shown a higher full house in the end.

Bussman's Big Bluff Fails

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

On a {J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} flop two players checked to Wilfried Sigmund Harig who bet 30,000. The first player folded but Adrian Bussman made the call.

Bussman check called another 90,000 on the {10-Diamonds}-turn and they were off to the river: {4-Diamonds}.

Now Bussman, who had check called so far from the under the gun position, made a bet of his own. He slid 190,000 forward and action was back on Harig. The German player thought for quite some time but eventually called holding pocket fives with the five of diamonds. His Swedish opponent had king-jack without any diamonds so the river had turned things around.

With the flush Harig was the new owner of the pretty big pot, Bussman licked his wounds.

Adamo Gets Lucky

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mike Adamo from the beautiful Turks & Caicos Islands just got lucky. He was all in pre flop holding {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and was up against Patrick Fasching who tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

The flop brought new life for Adam though with {10-Spades}{Q-Spades}{2-Spades}. The {3-Hearts} on the turn and {3-Spades} on the river didn't change that and Adamo had his 202,000 stack doubled.

Aces Versus Kings

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dan Murariu opened under the gun to 27,000 and he received two callers before Timo Pfutzenreuter in the big blind squeezed to 94,000. Murariu clicked it back to 157,000, but was forced to make it 161,000 to make it a valid raise. Both players caught in between, amongst them Marcel Luske in the small blind, folded. Action back on Pfutzenreuter who moved all in. Murariu called immediately.

Dan Murariu: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}
Timo Pfutzenreuter: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board blanked out completely: {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} giving Murariu the pot.

Murariu got his 430,000 stack times twice, plus some dead money and antes. Pfutzenreuter in the meantime is down to a little under a million.
