He didn't really, but we're all out of creative things to say.
Simon Deadman from the UK opened the button by tossing in a 5,000 chip and Antoine Saout made the call from the small blind. Jonathan Roy in the big blind had bigger plans for this hand and raised it up to, what appeared to be, 16,300. Both Deadman and Saout called and they were of to the flop.
Saout checked to Roy who made a 23,200 continuation bet. Deadman took out 23,200 from his stack, counted how much more he had, and then announced all in. Saout thought about it for half a second before folding, Roy made the call.
The flop turned out to have hit both pretty hard. Roy had the best of it but equity wise it was pretty close. Deadman held for a pair and flush draw (47.07%) while Roy held (52,93%). The fact Roy had the jack of clubs made him a little bigger of a favorite but edges were still pretty small.
Roy faded all outs his opponent had with the on the turn and the on the river. "Nice hand, good game" Deadman said as he left the Festsaal room of the Hofburg Palace.

With an amazing structure and highly skilled players it's a real treat to watch some of the hands played out in Vienna this week.
We just saw a player raise to 2,500 from the cutoff after which Timo Pfutzenreuter three-bet to 6,300 from the button. Frei Dilling, from the big blind, four-bet to 19,000 and the initial raiser folded.
Pfutzenreuter went into the tank for a bit before ultimately five-betting to 33,300.
Dilling looked at Pfutzenreuter's stack for quite a while, but ultimately he moved all in only to se ehis opponent snap-fold.

We missed the specifics, but we do know that Team PokerStars Pro Maxim Lykov five-bet shove all in and Antoine Zeziola Granath, who had about the same amount, was in the tanking debating what to do. Eventually he made the call and Lykov discovered the bad news.
Lykov:
Granath:
The flop did nothing for Lykov, and the turn actually left him drawing dead. The meaningless was put out on the river for good measure, and then Lykov made his way to the exit.

We missed the elimination of Olivier Busquet, but his vanquisher, Ben Yu, was kind enough to fill us in on the details.
According to him, Busquet had opened for 4,000 from early position last level and the button called. Yu then called from the big blind and three players saw a flop of . Yu checked, Busquet bet 6,000, and the button folded.
Yu responded with a check-raise to 15,000, Busquet called, and the dealer burned and turned an offsuit . Yu moved all in and Busquet hit the tank for a bit before calling of his last 35,000 or so with for a pair of eights and a flush draw. He needed to hit the latter as Yu held a set with , but that didn't happen as the river blanked.
