The European Poker Tour Season 10 Player of the Year race is on, and as you know players have been accumulating points in all events throughout Season 10, regardless of the buy-in level. In addition, all of the Festival Events (Estrellas, UKIPT, Eureka, FPS, IPT) that combine with an EPT tour stop have been eligible for Player of the Year points. The winner of this season’s award will walk away with €50,000 in Main Event buy-ins, good for any PokerStars or Full Tilt sponsored event.

Over the last day, Adrian Diaz has jumped up to the No. 9 spot with 552.79 points, which pushed Ami Barer down to 10th. Likewise, it resulted in Mike "Timex" McDonald falling out of the top ten.

We haven't caught the full action but we do know that the turn saw Marcos Paneque Mateos check raise from 5,500 to 16,000 out of the big blind and Juri Mereu called to see the river. Paneque bet 45,000 and was called, the Italian mucked the when his opponent from Spain revealed the .

A preflop raising war over at the feature table resulted in Sorel Mizzi getting his stack of 43,500 all in against Maurizio Saieva.

It was a great spot for Mizzi, and one that didn't sit too well with an upset Saieva. The flop gave both players a flush draw, but of course Mizzi's was best. The turn left Saieva drawing dead, and after the was put out on the river, Mizzi was shipped the double.
Marcin Kreft opened for 2,400 under the gun and got called by Vanessa Selbst. From the button Grudi Grudev raised it to 8,300 and Kreft made the call. Slebst folded and two players saw the flop .
Kreft bet out for 7,800 and Grudev made the call. They saw a turn card and Kreft wasted no time oin moving all in for 27,000.
Grudev only had 16,000 left and he eventually sigh folded.
