The Toth Gets Going

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

A double up for Team PokerStars Pro Richard Toth. His fellow Team Pro Henrique Pinho opened to 4,000 before Ross Loggie made it 11,800 a couple of seats down with {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. Toth pushed in a cold four-bet for 37,100 on the button.

Pinho folded and Loggie called off for a flip.

Loggie: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Toth: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The board came {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{3-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Toth jumped up to about 80,000 - much healthier than before.

Senft's Setup

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Maximilian Senft
Maximilian Senft

Prior to the level change, Maximilian Senft and Niko Mykkanen were heads up on a flop of {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Senft, who was the Day 1b chip leader, checked, and Mykkanen fired out 8,500. Senft check-raised to 22,000, Mykkanen called, and the turn was the {j-Hearts}.

Senft led out this time, making it 25,000 to go, and Mykkanen slid forward enough chips to put the German all in (103,000). Senft snap-called.

Senft: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Mykkanen: {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

Only an eight could send Senft packing, but the {7-Spades} completed the board, and he doubled to 265,000 chips. Mykkanen fell to 89,000.

The Art of Inducing

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

When we arrived at the table, there was already a massive 200,000-chip pot in the middle, and the board was completed {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Ludovic Geilich checked to his opponent, Patric Laudam, who moved all in for effectively 172,000.

Geilich instantly called, tabling {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for the stone-cold nuts, and Laudam shook his head before mucking. Laudam plummeted to 72,000 chips, while Geilich rocketed up above 500,000.

Yong Shoots To The Top

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Wai Kin Yong has had a stellar day so far as he's up to 290,000 chips right now. We just saw a player raise to 4,000 after which Luis Rodrigues three-bet to 9,300 and the action was folded to Yong in the small blind. The young Malaysian put in a cold four-bet to 22,000 and Benjamin Juhasz quickly moved all in over the top from the big blind.

Both the initial raiser and Rodrigues folded and Yong did some math before making the call. Juhasz was all in for 83,500 total and the showdown went as following.

Juhasz: {a-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Yong: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{2-Spades} and Yong knocked another player out.
