The board read when the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event final table bubble boy Vasili Firsau bet 7,500 into Manuel Bevand.
Bevand went into the tank for quite a while and eventually he made the call. Firsau showed for both a busted straight and flush draw. Bevand showed and took down this pot.
The producers have chosen an entertaining lineup for the secondary feature table. Seated there are David "Devilfish" Ulliott, Dario Minieri, Jeff Gross, Dan O'Brien and Timothy Adams.
In a recent hand, there was 11,000 or so in the pot on a board reading when O'Brien checked to Ulliott, who promptly bet 4,000. O'Brien made the call. Both players then checked the river and the Devilfish tabled the for a flopped pair of nines with a flush draw. O'Brien mucked his hand.
There were six players who bought in at the start of day 2, including the Super High Roller winner from Monte Carlo, Max Altergott, Luke Schwartz, and the Super High Roller runner-up here, Tobias Reinkemeier.
This brings the unofficial total number of players for EPT London to 603.
Of course there are a lot of chips up for grabs today, but technically there is still nothing to win today. The EPT London Main Event has reached Day 2 and that means stacks getting doubled, crippled and most will vanish as we're slowly heading towards the money. Chip leader today Dhru Patel starts today not having to fear busting out, but it's still anyone's game today.
The goal for today is to play six 75-minute levels with a break after each. There are a ton of superstars still left among which former EPT Berlin winner Davidi Kitai, Chris Brammer, John Juanda and EPT Live commentary regular [Removed:17] who all have very large stacks. The blinds at the begin of the Day are 400-800 with a 100 ante and surviving today means you will have played through the 1,200-2,400 level with a 300 ante.
PokerNews will be with you all throughout the day as we bring you all the live updates of this incredible event!
