Nice Turn for Tureniec

With around 30,000 in the pot and a flop of {9-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}, Michael Tureniec got his remaining 91,700 all in and was in trouble against Brandon Barnes.

Showdown
Barnes: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Tureniec: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Tureniec had flopped top pair, but it was no good against Barnes' two pair. Fortunately for Tureniec, the {A-Hearts} turn delivered him trips and left Barnes drawing dead. The meaningless {2-Clubs} was put out on the river and Tureniec doubled through Barnes.

Cheong Busts Duthie

Joseph Cheong check-called a bet of 15,000 from John Duthie on the {J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop before the dealer placed the {Q-Spades} out on the turn. Here, Cheong led for 25,000, and Duthie raised all in. Cheong called with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and was beating Duthie's {A-Spades}{J-Spades}.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} to eliminate Duthie and move Cheong to nearly 500,000 in chips.
