Hansen Turn Check-Raise Wins The Pot

From the button Aage Ravn opened to 40,000 and both blinds, Niels van Alphen (small) and Bjarke Hansen (big) came along for the ride. The dealer put out the {9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{A-Spades} flop, both blinds checked and Ravn continued with a bet of 55,000. Van Alphen folded but Hansen put in the required chips and called.

The turn brought the {J-Diamonds} into play and Hansen tapped the table and checked. Ravn bet again, setting the price at 75,000 to play. Hansen remained stoic for a few moments before raising coming to life to raise to 210,000. This was taken as a sign of strength by Ravn and he got out of the way.

Ace-High Good For Ravn

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Bjarke Hansen opened the betting with a raise to 40,000 from under the gun and the action folded all the way around to our chipleader Aage Ravn in the small blind. he paused briefly before three-betting to 110,000. Hansen decided to see a flop in position and made the call.

Flop: {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} - Ravn checked and Hansen checked behind.

Turn: {7-Spades} - Both players checked again.

River: {9-Hearts} - Both players decided to check again.

Ravn turned over {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and ace-high was good enough to take down the pot.

Hansen Played Back At

Welcome to the action, Jacob Rasmussen. He was in the small blind and called a 35,000 raise from Bjarke Hansen, along with Pierre Neuville in the big blind.

All three checked the {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop before Hansen made a delayed 85,000 c-bet on the {a-Spades} turn. Rasmussen check-raised up to 240,000 and both opponents took their time before folding.

Spencer Hudson Eliminated in 8th Place (191,400 DKK)

Spencer Hudson: Busto
Spencer Hudson: Busto

Spencer Hudson has become the first player on the final table to be eliminated after a clash with chip leader Aage Ravn.

Hudson opened to 40,000 then moved all-in for 385,000 after Ravn three-bet to 110,000. Ravn made the call and put Hudson at risk of elimination.

Hudson: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Ravn: {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop was as safe as it could get for a pair of jacks but that was all about to change on the turn because the fourth community card was the {A-Hearts}. Hudson stood from his seat, resigned to becoming the eighth place finisher and that is exactly what happened when the river was the {8-Spades}.

A Man Names Hansen From Denmark Being Aggressive, You Say?

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Bjarke Hansen
Bjarke Hansen

It's not Gustov but Bjarke Hansen playing as his name and country of origin demands!

Niels van Alphen opened to 40,000 from the button and tank-called when Hansen three-bet to 115,000 from the small blind. The flop fell {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Hansen continued for 120,000. Van Aplphen had seen enough and folded.

The next hand Hansen raised to 45,000 from the button. It was into O'Dwyer's big blind, and he thought and stared at Hansen long enough as to say "I'll let you off this time, buddy!" before he folded.
