Nicolas Levi Eliminated in 3rd Place (€270,000)

Nicolas Levi - 3rd Place
Nicolas Levi - 3rd Place

From the button, Nicolas Levi raised all in for around 1.5 million. Martin Finger snap-called from the small blind and David Boyaciyan folded from the big blind. Hands please.

Finger: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Levi: {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The flop came down {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Levi took the lead with a pair of eights. Wait one second, though. Finger did have a world of outs with two overs and a flush draw holding the ace of clubs in his hand.

The turn {A-Hearts} smacked Finger with the lead. Then, as Levi began to put on his jacket in preparation, but really in hopes of jinxing Finger's chances, the river landed with the {J-Spades}. That finished things off and Levi was eliminated in third place for €270,000.

Levi shook the hands of the two remaining players, wished them luck and headed to the payout desk. He had a big smile on his face the entire time.

Guillem Usero Eliminated in 4th Place (€205,000)

Guillem Usero - 4th place
Guillem Usero - 4th place

Guillem Usero got his last ~20bb into the pot before the flop with {A-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}, but he'd run his ace smack into the {K-Hearts} {K-Spades} of Martin Finger.

The at-risk player needed some help in a hurry, and the {J-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {2-Hearts} flop was a good start. Usero picked up the flush draw, and he'd add one extra out when the {8-Clubs} landed on fourth street. Thirteen outs would prove to be insufficient this time around, though, and the river {10-Diamonds} was the blank that ended his day.

It's been a fine run for the 21-year-old here in Prague, and he's notched the largest cash of his career. It's €205,000 as a consolation prize, and it leaves us with our final three players.

The Ten-Million-Chip Man

The first two players folded to the blinds, and Martin Finger raised to 160,000. David Boyaciyan defended his big blind, and the dealer gave them a {Q-Spades} {2-Spades} {Q-Hearts} flop. Check-check, and the {A-Clubs} hit fourth street. Now Finger led out with 170,000, and Boyaciyan made a quick call. On the river, the {8-Clubs} drew a check from Finger, and Boyaciyan took his cue to make a bet of 255,000. It didn't work. Finger check-raised to 850,000 total, and Boyaciyan gave it a forlorn look for a couple minutes before surrendering.

Finger Close to Ten

The table folded around to the blinds, and Martin Finger raised to 160,000 first in. His neighbor David Boyaciyan flatted, and off they went heads-up.

The dealer spread out {J-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {6-Clubs}, and Finger bet 160,000. Boyaciyan called quickly, and Finger checked to him after the {10-Hearts} hit fourth street. Now it was Boyaciyan doing the betting, and he made it 280,000 to go. Finger called with just a moment's hesitation, and the {K-Diamonds} completed the board. Trading roles again, Finger led back out with 300,000, and Boyaciyan grumbled and made the call.

Finger tabled {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs}, and his two pair were good. Boyaciyan mucked, and he's slipped back down around 800,000 now, perhaps a bit lower. Finger's closing in on the ten-million-chip mark, but we've got him eyeballed at just a smidge less than that.

Usero Poked By Finger

Martin Finger

Martin Finger and Guillem Usero were tangled up in a heads-up pot when we joined the {10-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {4-} flop. In position, Usero bet 185,000, and Finger check-raised to 370,000 -- the minimum. Usero made the call, and the two men checked through the {7-Diamonds} turn. On the river {8-Hearts}, Finger figured it was time to make a bet, and he settled on 700,000. It took a minute or two, but Usero eventually made the call for a significant chunk of his stack.
