"smoothustler" Eliminated in 7th Place ($1,360.80)

"smoothustler" Eliminated in 7th Place

Action was in Level 29 with blinds of 25,000/50,000 and an ante of 6,250 as action folded around to "rumpthumper" in the small blind, who jammed for 792,624. "smoothustler" was in the big blind with 770,462 and called all in.

"smoothustler": {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
"rumpthumper": {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The two seemed almost certain to chop until the flop fell {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, giving "rumpthumper" a chance at the nut flush. The dagger came to "smoothustler" on the turn {q-Hearts}, leaving them drawing dead for the river {9-Spades} as they become the seventh-place finisher.

"sri50k" Eliminated in 8th Place ($1,020.60)

"sri50k" Eliminated in 8th Place

In Level 28 with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and an ante of 5,000, "PompYouUp" opened to 80,000 in early position and "Djp120388" called in middle position. "sri50k" three-bet all in for 421,786 in the hijack and action made its way around to "PompYouUp," who went all in over the top for 815,524. "Djp120388" folded.

"sri50k": {j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
"PompYouUp": {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

"sri50k's" two paint cards were up against the best starting hand in the game. A queen came on the flop {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, but that's as close as it would get as the turn {2-Clubs} and river {k-Diamonds} left "PompYouUp's" aces best to eliminate "sri50k" in eighth place.

"Djp120388" Picks Off "sri50k" To Take Chip Lead

"Dp120388" Takes the Chip Lead

Action was in Level 27 with blinds of 18,000/36,000 and an ante of 4,500. There was 252,00 in the middle in a battle of the blinds, and "Djp120388" bet 126,000 on a flop of {4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. "sri50k" raised all in for well over the size of the pot and "Djp120388" thought for a bit before electing to call.

"Djp120388": {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
"sri50k": {10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

"Djp120388" found themselves having made the right call and needed to fade a ten or running straight cards. The turn {9-Clubs} removed the backdoor outs, and the river {k-Clubs} was safe to complete the runout and score the double, taking the chip lead along with it.

"IReadYrSoul" Eliminated in 9th Place

An all-in preflop situation in Level 26 transpired with blinds of 16,000/32,000 and an ante of 4,000. "IReadYrSoul was at risk in the small blind versus "rumpthumper," who was on the button. Both players had around 10 big blinds, with "rumpthumper" being the one to cover.

"IReadYrSoul": {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
"rumpthumper": {k-Spades}{7-Spades}

"IReadYrSoul" looked poised to double and leave "rumpthumper" on fumes, but the flop {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades} gave "rumpthumper" the nut flush draw. It filled up on the turn {6-Spades}, leaving "IReadYrSoul" drawing dead as the river {4-Clubs} completed the runout to leave them as the ninth-place finisher.

"golden13" Eliminated in 10th Place

With blinds of 16,000/32,000 and an ante of 4,000 in Level 26, all of the chips got in the middle in a blind-on-blind battle between "golden13" in the small blind, who was at risk against "sri50k" in the big blind.

"golden13": {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
"sri50k": {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

"golden13" was in jeopardy of bubbling the final table after running eights into jacks and did just that as the board ran out {4-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} to leave their queens and eights second best against the queens and jacks of "sri50k" to take the tournament down to nine, reaching the official final table as a result.

On the last hand of Level 24 with blinds of 12,000/24,000 and a 3,000-ante, "JinYang" got all in preflop on the button against "ClarkWesterfeld," who was in the small blind.

"JinYang": {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

"JinYang" needed to hold to stay alive but instead saw a queen come on the flop {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades}, leaving them in need of hitting one of the two remaining jacks. Today would not be the day that happened as the turn {3-Diamonds} and river {7-Diamonds} finished the runout, bringing the number of players left in the tournament down to 13 for just a moment as "thehebrewhamme" was eliminated shortly thereafter, taking that nuber down to 12.
