Weis Doubles Through Yotsushika

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Kazuhiko Yotsushika has taken a big hit to his stack and dropped below the average while Oliver Weis doubled.

The cards of Yotsushika were already in the muck as he paid off Weis for 61,000, and the German was busy stacking up all the chips for the next two hands.

According to Weis, Yotsushika had raised to 2,900 from under the gun and John Iskra called on the button, Weis squeezed to 12,600 in the small blind and Yotsushika was the only caller.

On a flop of {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, Weis continued for 7,600 and he called a raise to 22,000 by Yotsushika to see the {2-Diamonds} turn. Weis check-called the shove with {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for top pair and the nut flush draw, while Yotsushika only had {a-}{10-}. The river was a blank {q-Spades} and the kicker played .
