Fox Falls Short of the Money

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

It all started with a raise to 10,000 by Yong Wang and Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 35,000 after eyeballing the stack of Wang. Elio Fox in the small blind four-bet to 80,000 and Wang quickly got out of the way while Kisacikoglu made the call.

They headed to the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop and Fox led for 45,000, which Kisacikoglu called after he had a few seconds left on his shot clock. Fox then moved all in after the turn for {7-Hearts} for what appeared to be 213,000 and Kisacikoglu asked for a count. The dealer was all but finished to get an exact count when Kisacikoglu tossed in a chip for the call.

Elio Fox: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

A blank {7-Hearts} on the river sent Fox from one of the big stacks to the rail just shy of the money in a matter of minutes and the remaining 11 players will now play hand for hand on the money bubble.
