Hahn Eliminated by Huber

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Michael Hahn
Michael Hahn

Michael Hahn raised to 50,000 from the button and Stefan Huber three-bet all in from the small blind. Beau Palmer thought about it in the big blind before folding, with Hahn snap-calling and tabling {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

He was up against the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} of Huber. The board ran out {k-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Hahn was eliminated.

Park Rivers Burns to Survive

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Chul-Hyon Park shoved 180,000 from early position and Kahle Burns committed that amount from the small blind. Saijes Mundadan got out of the way in the big blind.

Chul-Hyon Park: {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Kahle Burns: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop proved of no help to Park. The {9-Spades} on the turn added the jacks as outs to his live cards, and sure enough, the {J-Spades} rolled on the river to improve Park to a straight and a much-needed double-up.

Johan Schumacher
Johan Schumacher

In a blind on blind confrontation, Johan Schumacher bet 35,000 on a {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop. Vincent Chua put in a small raise to 75,000, Schumacher three-bet shoved all in and Chua called all in for 495,000 total.

Johan Schumacher: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Vincent Chua: {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

It was a costly misstep for Schumacher, who had to pay off Chua after the {9-Hearts} turn and {4-Diamonds} river.

Burns Takes from Engel

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ari Engel raised it up to 47,000 and Kahle Burns called out of the big blind. Both players checked the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop and Burns checked the {A-Diamonds} turn, prompting a bet of 40,000 by Engel and a call from Burns.

On the {3-Clubs} river, Burns checked and subsequently check-raised from 67,000 to 275,000 with 375,000 behind. Engel gave it plenty of thought and sent his cards into the muck.

Shimizu Eliminated by Lim

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Takao Shimizu
Takao Shimizu

Aaron Lim raised to 45,000. Takao Shimizu, after doubling up Ross Grammer, moved all in for 66,000. Michael Hahn cold-called and, after checking he couldn't re-raise, Lim also called.

Lim bet 45,000 on the {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop and Hahn called quickly.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and both players checked. The river was the {k-Spades}. Lim bet 100,000 and Hahn quickly folded.

Lim showed {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and only just pipped Shimizu's {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds} meaning that Shimizu was eliminated.

Ruge Loses Flip to Lin

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Arne Ruge
Arne Ruge

Arne Ruge raised to 45,000 from the cutoff and Najeem Ajez called on the button. Chen An Lin three-bet to 190,000 in the small blind and Ruge moved all in for around 700,000. Ajez folded and Lin asked for a rough count before calling.

Arne Ruge: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Chen An Lin: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop paired up Lin, and the {7-Diamonds} turn and {K-Clubs} river sent Ruge to the rail in 23rd place for A$60,000. "I also had a decent ace," Ajez added while the dealer was busy to push the stack over to Lin, who continued to construct a tower out of it.

Grammer Wins Huge Double Up; Shimizu Left Super Short

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ross Grammer raised to 45,000. Takao Shimizu called on the button before Stefan Huber three-bet to 155,000 in the big blind. Grammer then four-bet all in for 716,000. Shimizu tanked.

"It's a big bet," Grammer said to his opponent. "It's a big scary bet."

After some thought Shimizu called and Huber quickly got out of the way.

Ross Grammer: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Takao Shimizu: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Shimizu was ahead, but the ace-high board of {6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} gave Grammer a full house, leaving Shimizu with less than four big blinds behind.

Mundadan Doubles Through Au

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Kahle Burns opened the action to 44,000. Behind him, Saijes Mundadan shoved all in for 131,000. Action got folded to Kim Au in the big blind, who went in the tank. Mundanan, with a big grin, hid himself jokingly in his hoodie as Au started thinking.

Au emerged with a three-bet to 260,000 and Burns reluctantly folded his hand.

Saijes Mundadan: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Kim Au: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The mother of all coinflips landed in Mundadan's favor on {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. He clapped his hands in excitement as he celebrated the double-up.

Koren Eliminates Doria

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mike Del Vecchio opened for 50,000 with {k-}{3-} on the button and [Removed:415] made it 205,000 with {a-Spades}{8-Spades} in the small blind. Szymon Wysocki jammed with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} in the big and folded everyone out.

The next hand, Doria opened with {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} on the button for 55,000. The small blind mucked but Artur Koren shoved in the big. Doria snapped it off for his 457,000.

Artur Koren: {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
[Removed:415]: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The window card was a brutal, for Doria, {4-Clubs}, followed by {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}. The {2-Hearts} and then {10-Spades} did not save Doria, who headed to the rail in 24th.

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mike Del Vecchio opened with {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for 45,000 first to act and Artur Koren flatted {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} on the button. Tu Lan made it three to a {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop with {4-}{4-} in the blinds.

Del Vecchio put in a continuation-bet to 55,000 and only Del Vecchio continued. Both checked the {10-Diamonds} and Del Vecchio bet 165,000 on the {3-Diamonds} river. Koren folded after some thought.
