Ajez Bluffs Off A Chunk

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ben Richardson raised to 45,000 in middle position and Najeem Ajez defended his big blind. The {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop went check/check and Ajez bet 82,000 on the {6-Spades} turn. Richardson called.

The river brought the {Q-Clubs} and Ajez slid two towers of 100,000 each forward. Richardson didn't need much time to come to a decision and swiftly called the bet.

Shaking his head, Ajez showed {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a whiffed draw and Richardson slapped {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} on the felt to collect the pot.

Koren Finds a Fold

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Artur Koren opened {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} in the hijack and called a three-bet from Espen Solaas on his left, who had {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. That turned into the nuts as {7-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flopped and Koren check-called 100,000. He check-called 175,000 more on the {q-Clubs} turn and the river was the {j-Hearts}.

This time, Solaas bet 225,000 and Koren sighed and removed his hood to rub his hand through his hair. After about a minute, he folded.

Puia Runs Out of Chips

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Eddie Puia
Eddie Puia

Eddie Puia defended his big blind against a raise to 40,000 by Toby Lewis and checked the {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop. Lewis checked back and then bet the {K-Spades} turn for 50,000 after another check by Puia, forcing a fold.

Puia limped the small blind the next hand, Lewis moved all in and forced another fold.

Shortly after, Vincent Chua raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and Puia moved all in from the button. Chua asked for a count and the all in was for 158,000 in total, which Chua called.

Eddie Puia: {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Vincent Chua: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

While the door card was the {K-Spades} to give Puia a pair, it was followed by the {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Chua had flopped the nut straight. Only an ace or running cards would avoid the elimination of Puia, and the {7-Hearts} turn and {2-Hearts} river bricked off. Puia receives A$40,000 for his efforts and the next table will now break to continue with four six-handed tables shortly.

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Artur Koren opened for 40,000 under the gun and called a three-bet to 135,000 from big blind Toby Lewis. The flop came {9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Lewis checked. Koren bet 105,000 and Lewis called. On the {3-Spades} turn, Lewis checked again. Koren told the dealer he was all in. It was enough to put Lewis at risk for about 550,000.
