Stavropoulos Missing

Manny Stavropoulos

Yet another big name in today's field has gone missing and that is 2015 Aussie Millions champion, who had last been spotted on the table of Lance Patison. The latter was kind enough to provide the details, as he was the one that sent Stavropoulos to the rail.

According to Patison, there was a raise to 2,500 from under the gun and Stavropoulos three-bet to 6,700, which Patison in the small blind called and the initial raiser folded. On a {Q-}{9-}{6-} rainbow flop, Patison check-raised from 9,500 to 25,000, which was enough to put Stavropoulos all in, and the latter eventually called with pocket aces. Patison had pocket queens for top set and running nines changed nothing anymore whatsoever.
