David Peters Eliminated in 6th Place

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

Hand #29: Mike Watson raised to 14,000 from the cutoff with {q-Spades}{9-Spades} and David Peters defended his big blind holding {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}. On a flop of {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop Peters check-called for 15,000 to see the {j-Spades} turn card.

Again Peters check-called, this time for 45,000, and the {k-Clubs} river completed the board.

Peters checked it over to Watson who had rivered the nuts, and he moved all in with enough to cover Peters’ final 110,000.

Peters went into the tank and ultimately used a time bank chip, before deciding to call off for his tournament life with the pair of tens.
