Hand #93: Mike Watson on the button raised to 25,000 with {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Petrangelo called with {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}. The flop came {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and both checked. The {9-Clubs} turn hit Petrangelo and he checked. Watson bet 35,000 and Petrangelo raised to 140,000. Watson, with second pair, called. The {3-Hearts} on the river saw Petrangelo bet 303,000 into 330,000. Watson auto used a time breaker chip as he didn't make his decision within 30 seconds. He eventually folded the best hand. Nick Petrangelo took over the chiplead with this hand.

Hand #94: Petrangelo raised to 20,000 with {A-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Watson defended {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Watson check-called 10,000. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn had Watson check again, Petrangelo checked behind. The {10-Spades} completed the board and Watson bet half the pot. Petrangelo folded instantly.

Hand #95: Watson raised the button with no cards showing up, Petrangelo folded.

Hand #96: Petrangelo raised {K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} to 20,000. Watson defended with {8-Spades}{6-Spades} and flopped best on {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Both checked and the {Q-Spades} hit the turn. Watson bet 30,000 and Petrangelo called. The {5-Spades} completed the board and Watson checked the best hand. Petrangelo bet 200,000 into 100,000. Again, Watson needed some time and folded in the end.

Hands #87-92: Petrangelo Pushes Back

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Hand #87: Mike Watson brought it in for a button raise to 25,000 with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Nick Petrangelo defended his big blind to see a flop of {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Petrangelo then check-called for 30,000 taking them to the {j-Clubs} turn.

The turn was checked through before the {k-Hearts} arrived on the end. Petrangelo loaded up and fired a healthy 170,000 into the middle and Watson snapped it off. Petrangelo tabled {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a river straight to take it down.

Hand #88: Nick Petrangelo raised to 20,000 on the button with {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Mike Watson called from the big blind with {k-Clubs}{7-Spades} before the flop landed {k-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}.

Watson checked, Petrangelo min-bet 10,000, and Watson called to see the {7-Diamonds} turn.

The action was checked through and the {4-Spades} completed the board. Watson then took the betting lead, firing 40,000 into the middle, and Petrangelo quickly folded.

Hand #89: Mike Watson button raised to 25,000 with {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Nick Petrangelo defended his big blind holding {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} before a flop of {8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The action was checked down all the way through the {j-Spades} turn and {10-Diamonds} river with Petrangelo revealing his threes to win the pot.

Hand #90: Nick Petrangelo folded the small blind and gave Mike Watson a walk.

Hand #91: Mike Watson folded the small blind and gave Nick Petrangelo a walk.

Hand #92: Nick Petrangelo raised the button with {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Mike Watson with just {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} gave it up.

Hands #77-86: Watson Keeps His Advantage Heads-Up

Hand #77: Mike Watson raised to 22,000 from the button and was called by Nick Petrangelo in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{a-Hearts} and Petrangelo check-folded after Watson threw out a continuation bet totalling 16,000.

Hand #78: Nick Petrangelo raised to 20,000 from the button and was called by Mike Watson in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} and both players checked.

The same would follow after the {9-Diamonds} dropped on the turn.

The {10-Spades} completed the board and Watson checked over to Petrangelo who fired out 30,000. Watson folded shortly after.

Hand #79: Mike Watson raised to 25,000 from the button and Nick Petrangelo called from the big blind.

The flop came {8-Spades}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Petrangelo checked before folding his hand when Watson tossed out 25,000.

Hand #80: Nick Petrangelo raised from the button and took down the blinds and antes after Mike Watson mucked his hand.

Hand #81: Mike Watson received a walk and took down the pot.

Hand #82: Nick Petrangelo raised to 20,000 from the button and was called by Mike Watson in the blinds.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Petrangelo threw out a continuation bet of 30,000 after Watson checked. The bet was called.

Both players checked the {6-Diamonds} on the turn before the {6-Hearts} completed the board.

Watson then slid out 100,000 which was called by Petrangelo shortly after.

Watson tabled {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a bluff before Petrangelo turned over {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for two pair and the winning hand.

Hand #83: Mike Watson raised to 25,000 from the button before Nick Petrangelo three-bet to 85,000. Watson quickly mucked and Petrangelo took down the pot.

Hand #84: Nick Petrangelo raised to 20,000 from the button and was met with a three-bet totalling 70,000 from Watson. Petrangelo instantly mucked and Watson took back the chips he lost in the same fashion from the previous hand.

Hand #85: Mike Watson raised to 25,000 from the button and was called by Nick Petrangelo in the big blind.

Both players checked the {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop before the {6-Spades} dropped on the turn. Petrangelo led out for 75,000 and was quickly called before the {k-Clubs} completed the board.

Both players checked before Petrangelo tabled {10-Spades}{5-Spades} for a missed flush draw. Watson tabled his {a-Spades}{6-Hearts} and took it down with a pair.

Hand #86: Nick Petrangelo raised to 20,000 from the button and was met with a reraise to 70,000 from Mike Watson. Petrangelo called and both players watched the flop come {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

Watson checked over to Petrangelo who slid out 40,000. The bet was enough to take down the pot after Watson mucked his hand shortly after.

Hand #75: Mike Watson raised to 20,000 on the button with {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Nick Petrangelo defended his big blind with {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}to see a flop of {3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{a-Spades}. Both players checked and the {9-Hearts} arrived on the turn.

Petrangelo checked again and folded once Watson put in a delayed continuation bet for 25,000.

Hand #75: Mike Watson and Nick Petrangelo went to a flop of {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. Watson held {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} but Petrangelo’s cards weren’t picked up by the reader.

Watson checked but after Petrangelo made it 10,000 to go, Watson reraised to 30,000 with just six high and took down the pot.

Hand #74: Fedor Holz has just been eliminated after ending up on the wrong side of a flip with Nick Petrangelo.

Petrangelo raised to 18,000 on the button with {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} before Holz moved all in for 146,000 from the small blind with pocket fours.

“I wouldn’t call this versus most people” Petrangelo said, “but I think I’m calling versus you.”

Petrangelo did commit the chips and an ace in the window of the {7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} flop saw Petrangelo shoot to the lead. The {a-Spades} turn and {6-Clubs} river sealed Holz’s fate and he departed in third place to take us to heads up play.

Hands #66-73: Watson Bullying His Opponents

Hand #66: Mike Watson raised to 25,000 from the small blind which was too much for Nick Petrangelo to call as he opted to muck his hand.

Hand #67: Mike Watson raised to 20,000 from the button before Fedor Holz raised to 78,000 from the big blind. Watson called.

The flop came {7-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and Holz bet out 60,000 which Watson called.

The {k-Clubs} completed the board and Holz checked. Watson then moved all in for 887,000 which had Holz covered. With 153,000 Holz used up his whole time bank before mucking his hand.

Hand #68: Watson gets a walk in the big blind.

Hand #69: Mike Watson raised to 28,000 from the small blind and was called by Nick Petrangelo in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Watson threw out a continuation bet totalling 40,000 which was called.

The turn brought the {3-Diamonds} and Watson slid out a tower of chips worth 100,000. Petrangelo didn't wait long to muck his hand as he gave up on the pot.

Hand #70: Mike Watson raised to 20,000 from the button and was called by Fedor Holz in the big blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Holz check-folded after a continuation bet of 16,000 was tossed out by Watson.

Hand #71: Fedor Holz limped in from the small blind only to be faced with a raise to 24,000 from Watson on the big blind. Holz paused for a moment then mucked his hand.

Hand #72: Fedor Holz raised to 20,000 from the button and took down the blinds and antes after the blinds folded.

Hand #73: Mike Watson raised from the button which was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #62: Fedor Holz limped in the small blind with {k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Mike Watson checked his option holding {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds} in the big blind before a flop of {10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Holz checked it over to Watson who fired for 10,000. Holz folded.

Hand #63: Mike Watson raised on the button with {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #64: Mike Watson limped in the small blind holding {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Nick Petrangelo checked the big blind with {a-Hearts}{6-Spades} before a flop of {2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Both players checked and the {8-Hearts} arrived on the turn.

Watson check-called a bet of 10,000 and a nine arrived to complete the board. Watson checked again and Petrangelo made it 30,000 to go. Watson folded and Petrangelo took it down.

Hand #65: Fedor Holz limped in the small blind with {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} before Mike Watson raised to 24,000 in the big blind with ace-queen and Holz called to see a flop of {8-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Holz checked, Watson continued for 20,000, and Holz called to see the {q-Diamonds} turn card.

Holz checked again and Watson fired for 50,000. Another call from Holz saw Watson put in a third barrel for 150,000. After going into the tank and using a time bank chip, Holz ultimately called with top pair to see he was behind Watson’s two pair.

Hand #59: Fedor Holz called from the small blind before Mike Watson raised to 20,000 from the big blind. Holz laid it down and Watson took down the pot.

Hand #60: Fedor Holz raised to 20,000 from the button and took down the blinds and antes after the blinds folded.

Hand #61: Mike Watson raised to 20,000 from the button and was called by Fedor Holz in the big blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Holz check-called a continuation bet totalling 20,000.

Both players then checked down the {9-Clubs} on the turn as well as the {4-Clubs} on the river.

Watson tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for ace-high but it was not enough as Holz showed {a-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a pair and the winning hand.
