Hansen Brutalized

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Mogens Hansen
Mogens Hansen

Mogens Hansen lost most of his chips doubling up Walter Treccarichi and his pocket aces after flopping top pair.

The rest went over to Daniel Neilson, who called his {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} shove with the {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and made trips on a {3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} board.

Aido Bluffs it Off

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

Andrew Hinrichsen limped the small blind and Sergio Aido checked his option in the big.

Hinrichsen checked the {6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, then called 14,000 from Aido. Hinrichsen check-called another 32,000 on the {j-Clubs} turn, and finally check-called Aido's 120,000-chip shove on the {k-Clubs} river with just the {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

He was correct though, Aido said goodbye, showing the {10-Hearts}{7-Spades} on the way out the door.

Aido Doubles Again

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Sergio Aido found himself all-in again - this time holding the worst of it with {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} against Dario Sammartino with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}. The flop brought gold for the Spaniard with {q-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Spades}, but also a sweat, giving Sammartino a flush draw. Ultimately, the board ran out {6-Clubs}{a-Clubs} giving Aido another double up and putting his count up over 160,000.

Dario Doubles Didier

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Didier Guerin moved all-in for 83,000 behind a raise from Dario Sammartino, and Dario made the call tabling {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Guerin showed {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} and they were off to the races.

The flop came {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} giving Guerin a pair of tens. The turn {a-Hearts} and river {a-Clubs} completed a full house and gave him a much needed double up.

Three Way All In Gives Neilson The Lead

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Daniel Neilson
Daniel Neilson

Daniel Neilson just won a three-way all in hand sending Niall Farrell and Philip Iglesias home early while vaulting into the chip lead.

Neilson: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Iglesias: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Farrell: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

Neilson's jacks did more than hold, making a club flush on a {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs} run out to give him the double knockout and the lead.
