Scicchitano Felted

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Angelo Scicchitano
Angelo Scicchitano

Angelo Scicchitano moved all in from the button for 38,000 and Gavin Eke called for slightly less from the big blind.

Eke: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Scicchitano: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Eke doubled up. Scicchitano was all in the next hand for his last 1,000 chips after 500 had gone into the ante pot already. Frank Pezzaniti, Eke and Doug Corning called behind him and checked down the board {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Scicchitano's {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} could not beat the {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} of Eke.

Afiouni Doubles Through Nitsche

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

In a battle button versus small blind, Mohammed Afiouni bet the {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} flop for 21,000 and Dominik Nitsche called. The {3-Diamonds} came on the turn and Afiouni announced a pot-sized bet, but was not all in yet. It was 63,000 to go for Nitsche with his opponent having another 11,000 behind. The German then announced all in and Afiouni called off:

Afiouni: {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a straight
Nitsche: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for top set

The {6-Diamonds} river bricked and provided a double up for Afiouni.

Hachem Busts Fernandis

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

The cards were almost rushed away on table four with the board reading {3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Jordan Fernandis was standing up from his seat. Apparently the Aussie had gotten his short stack in from the big blind with aces and Daniel Hachem looked him up with the {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} to make a straight on the turn.

Vandersluis Vanquished

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Michael Seymour made it 10,500, Doug Corning pushed all in and Roy Vandersluis called all in for less. Seymour called.

Seymour: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Corning: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Vandersluis: {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The board rolled out {4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Corning scooped with three kings to knock Vandersluis out and leave Seymour relatively short.

Good Start for Nitsche

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

On the flop of {J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Dominik Nitsche check-called a bet of 15,000 by Mohammed Afiouni and did so again on the {J-Clubs} turn. The German then checked the {7-Clubs} river out of the big blind and Afiouni checked behind to muck aces, Nitsche had the {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a full house.

Soon after, Nitsche led for 15,000 out of the small blind and Afiouni folded, Linh Tran called with the board reading {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades}. Both players checked the {5-Spades} river and Nitsche's {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} for two pair picked up another pot.
