Last Hand of Level 17 to Schemion

Level 17 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Ole Schemion raised to 55,000 from the cutoff and Erik Seidel called from the big blind. Both players checked the {10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Spades} flop, and then Schemion called a bet of 75,000 from Seidel on the {10-Hearts} turn. When the {10-Clubs} completed the board on the river, Seidel checked and then folded to a bet of 225,000 from Schemion.

That was the last hand before a break. We'll have updated chip counts for you in a few minutes.

Yong Picks off Mo Bluff

Level 17 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Jason Mo tried to bluff Richard Yong off a hand but was picked off.

Yong raised to 55,000 from the hijack and Mo called from the big blind. Both players checked down the {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades} board before Mo led out for 65,000 on the river.

Yong called with {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, beating Mo's {k-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

Snowmen for Seidel

Level 17 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Jason Mo opened for 55,000 from the hijack and Erik Seidel called from the cutoff. Justin Bonomo came along from the big blind and three players saw a flop of {2-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Two checks saw Seidel bet 80,000, only Mo called, and then both players checked the {2-Diamonds} turn as well as the {5-Spades} river.

Seidel rolled over {8-}{8-} for eights and deuces, which was good as Mo sent his cards to the muck.

Three On the Bounce For Seiver

Level 17 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Scott Seiver moved up to 453,000 chips after three all ins got through.

He moved in from second position and then from under the gun, both times managing to take the blinds and antes. On the third time, he three-bet all in for 375,000 from the big blind after Jason Mo had raised to 53,000 from the button. Mo folded.

Yong Shoves on Mo

Level 17 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Jason Mo put in a raise preflop — how much we're not sure — and Richard Yong called from the small blind. The {8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades} flop saw Yong check-call a bet of 65,000 and then check for a second time on the {9-Spades} turn. Mo took the opportunity to bet 145,000, Yong sprung to life with a check-raise to 355,000, and Mo made the call to see the {8-Hearts} river.

Yong wasted little time in moving all in and Mo ended up releasing his hand.

Alex Trevallion Eliminated in 8th Place (AU$310,000)

Level 17 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Alex Trevallion - 8th place
Alex Trevallion - 8th place

Alex Trevallion came in with the shortest stack and he was the first to bust.

He was down to fewer than 200,000 chips when he moved all in from mid position. The action folded around to Richard Yong in the big blind who made the call.

Trevallion: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Yong: {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The board ran {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} to send the pot to Yong.

Yong Gets It In

Level 17 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Our access to the final table is extremely limited, and unfortunately there have been some audio/visual issue. As a result, we're currently left to garner the action from a muted television screen.

In a recent hand, we watched Richard Yong bet the {5-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop and then call off after Ole Schemion raised enough to put him all in.

Yong: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Schemion: {j-Spades}{8-Spades}

Yong held an overpair, but he had to fade the flush draw of the young German. He successfully did so on the {A-Diamonds} turn, which meant all Yong needed to do was avoid a spade on the river. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {J-Hearts} on the river. Yong's kings held and Schemion sent over some chips.

Mo Shoves on Yong

Level 17 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Richard Yong's down to a shoving stack after he left a lot of his stack in the middle in hand versus Jason Mo.

Yong raised into Mo's big blind and the latter defended to see a {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop appear. Yong continued for 45,000 and was called to the {10-Spades} turn where Mo check-called another 60,000. The board completed with the {k-Spades} and Yong fired again for 125,000 but folded immediately when Yo moved in on him.
