Plenty of Sevens to Go Around

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Scott Seiver raised to 120,000 from the small blind and Richard Yong called from the big to see a flop of {7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Seiver check-called a bet of 100,000 and then check-called on of 175,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn.

When the {7-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Seiver checked for a third time and Yong slid out a bet of 300,000. Seiver thought for most of the allotted time before making the call, but mucked just as soon as Yong rolled over the {7-Spades}{q-Hearts} for quads.

Schemion Takes First Hand Back

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Ole Schemion has evened up the stacks somewhat after winning the first hand back from dinner.

He completed from the small blind and Scott Seiver checked his option. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Schemion check-called 60,000 before he check-called another 130,000 on the {9-Hearts} turn. The river was the {8-Hearts} and both players checked.

Schemion opened {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and took the pot.

Schemion Shortest

Level 19 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Ole Schemion has been cut adrift at the bottom of the counts after he paid off Scott Seiver.

Schemion completed from the small blind and Seiver checked his option en route to a {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop. Schemion bet 55,000 there and 90,000 on the {a-Hearts} turn. Seiver called both times and then bet 315,000 on the {q-Diamonds} river when he faced a check.

Schemion used a time bank chip as he thought for close to a minute. He called and mucked upon seeing Seiver's {q-Spades}{5-Hearts} for two pair.

Justin Bonomo Eliminated in 4th Place (AU$800,000)

Level 19 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Justin Bonomo - 4th Place
Justin Bonomo - 4th Place

Justin Bonomo, the short stack at the table, raised to 95,000 from the button and was met by an all-in three-bet from Scott Seiver in the big blind. Bonomo snap-called off his stack and the cards were turned up.

Bonomo: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Seiver: {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Bonomo was out in front, but the {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop was a dagger through his heart. Seiver flopped two pair to take a commanding lead, and he actually had Bonomo drawing dead by the {8-Diamonds} turn. The meaningless {K-Hearts} was put out on the river for good measure, and then Bonomo made his way to the payout desk in fourth place to collect AU$800,000.

Yong Stretching Clear

Level 19 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

It's hard to tell how many chips Richard Yong has due to the way he stacks his chips but he's clear of the field with an estimated 2.9million after picking off another bluff.

He opened to 85,000 from the button and called after Schemion three-bet to 275,000 from the big blind. The {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} board was checked to the river before Schemion led for 230,000. Call.

The young German opened {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and lost out to Yong's {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

Fishhooks for Yong

Level 19 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Richard Yong opened for 90,000 under the gun and Scott Seiver called from the big blind. The {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop saw Seiver check-call a bet of 100,000 and then both players checked the {4-Clubs} turn. When the {2-Spades} completed the board on the river, Seiver led out for 160,000 and Yong made a quick call.

Seiver showed the {8-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a pair of eights, but it was no good as Yong was sitting on an overpair with the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

Ole Ole Ole

Level 19 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Ole Schemion won a nice pot with some preflop aggression. Scott Seiver raised from the cutoff before Justin Bonomo three-bet to 280,000 from the small blind but both players folded quickly after Schemion four-bet all in from the big blind.
