Gordon Huntly, winner of the ANZPT Sydney Main Event (A$226,812) back in March of this year, has just been eliminated.
Right before the break Huntly got his stack worth 19,000 chips all in preflop, and he was up against pocket kings. The board didn't bring him any help, and the Scot was knocked out.
In the first 45 minutes of play there were already three eliminations, but so far we haven't seen another. Players are taking maximum advantage of the slow structure, and most of them are watching movies on their iPads or are otherwise engaged.
The atmosphere is relaxed here at the Grand Waldo Hotel in Macau as we head towards the second break of the day.

Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang has already lost a large portion of his stack, and he explained to us what happened.
A player in the cutoff raised to 425 and Huang opted to three-bet to 1,100 from the small blind. The player in the big blind called, as did the initial raiser. Huang had , and the flop looked mighty fine for the longe time professional.
The flop brought out with two diamonds and Huang lead out for 1,700. The big blind called after which the initial raiser folded. On the turn a popped up and Huang fired out another 3,500. His opponent raised it up to 7,500 and Huang called.
The river was a , as the flush draw didn't complete. Huang checked to his opponent who bet 6,000, and Huang called. Huang did not get to claim the pot with his set of kings, as his opponent showed for a flopped straight.
Huang is short, but with this amazing structure there's still plenty of room to manoeuvre.
From middle position, Marc Convey raised to 425 to start off the action. Shengqing Zhu called from the cutoff seat, and Richard Chow called on the button. Then, Yue Hin Lam reraised to 1,775 from the small blind. After the big blind folded, things got a bit tricky.
The dealer began to pull in all the original bet amounts of 425. Then, Convey and Zhu called the reraise, and the dealer pulled those in, but Chow was still to act. After a couple minutes of reconstructing the pot, Chow made the call and all four saw a flop.
The flop came down , and action checked around to Chow. He bet 2,300, and the three-bettor Lam moved all in for 11,875. After a fold came from Convey and Zhu, Chow thought for a minute, then called.
Chow held the for a combo draw, but Lam had flopped trips with the . The table seemed to be quite surprised with the two hands that were turned over in this big, three-bet pot.
The turn was the , and the river was the . Lam's trips held up, and he won the pot to more than double his stack.
