Prize Pool and Payouts Announced

The prize pool for the 2012 PokerStars.net APPT Macau: Asia Championship of Poker HKD$100,000 Main Event has been announced, and the 184 players generated a prize pool worth HKD$17,305,200.

The top 22 spots will be paid out, and finishing in the money will earn each player at least HKD$173,000. The top prize is worth HKD$4,240,000, and that's a big USD$543,590. Click here for a complete list of payouts.

Wu's C-Bet Takes It Down

From middle position, Team PokerStars Pro Raymond Wu raised to 700. Fellow Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov called from the cutoff seat, and Ken Demlakian called from the button.

The three players took a {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, and Wu fired 1,500. Katchalov folded, then Demlakian followed suit, and Wu picked up the pot.

Glazier Picks One Up

From middle position, Grant Levy raised to 600. Jackie Glazier was next in the hijack seat and made the call before action fell on Craig Cockburn in the cutoff position. He reraised to 1,750, and everyone folded back to Levy. Levy called, then Glazier also called.

On the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Levy and Glazier checked to the preflop three-bettor. Cockburn fired a bet of 1,625, and Levy folded. Glazier made the call.

The {A-Clubs} was added to the turn on fourth street, and Glazier took a few moments before firing out 3,000. Cockburn paused for a minute, then folded his hand, and Glazier won the pot.

Dvoress Doubles Through Li

On the {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop, Bjorn Li and Daniel Dvoress got all the money in. Li held the {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a straight draw against the {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for Dvoress.

The turn brought the {K-Hearts} and the river the {4-Diamonds} to give Dvoress the double up. he was all in for 22,600 on the flop and moved to around 50,000 in chips. Li was left with about 7,500.
