Denis Pham raised in the hijack for Curtis Lim to call, which led them to the 8♦4♥3♥ flop. Pham bet and earned a call to then fire a second barrel for 55,000 on the 5♣ turn. Lim declared all-in and Pham replied but it had to be clarified three times whether or not that was call or fold.

The call was then confirmed and the cards were revealed.

Grant Gardner three-bet jammed a short stack with the A♣K♦ and was looked up by Ilia Miakishev with the Q♦Q♠. The most classic of flips brought a board of 8♥8♣8♠A♦10♦ and Gardner doubled.

Pete Chen had the very same scenario over on table one for 110,000 with A♦K♦ versus Q♠Q♦.

The J♠J♥8♠ flop and 9♥ turn were blanks but Chen got there with the A♥ river to start his little happy dance once more. Wei Xu never recovered from that large blow and Andy Li claimed the remainder of his short stack with ace-high shortly after.

An incredible preflop contest between Cheng Zhang in the under-the-gun position and Ashish Munot on the button unfolded. Munot had a five-bet to 236,000 out in front already for Zhang to then click it back to 327,000, essentially investing half of his stack.

Munot then moved all-in via seven-bet shove and Zhang ran out of time when his last time banks expired.
