The action started with an open raise to 35,000 by Ilia Miakishev and Ting-Yi Tsai clicked it up to 125,000. Miakishev then four-bet to around 350,000 with a single TR-25,000 chip behind. Tsai jammed and Miakishev tanked for a potential pay jump, then called it off.

"Jacks one time please?" Tsai joked and then rolled over his Q♣Q♥. Miakishev was trailing with the 10♠10♥ and Tsai then laughed when the J♠J♣8♣ flop brought two jacks. "No jacks, phew", he said with a big smile.

The 4♦ turn and 3♣ river bricked to send Miakishev out in 22nd place.

Within two hands, the short stack of Hao Tian was reduced to zero and he became the 20th place finisher.

Bo Jin doubled through Tian for 100,000 with 6♣6♠ versus K♦Q♥ when the K♠10♥5♠6♦8♠ board delivered the six on the turn.

Tian was then all-in against table chip leader Ting-Yi Tsai.

Junnie Pamplona raised it up to 36,000 in the hijack and earned a flat-call by Ashish Munot on the button. Philip Tan three-bet to 151,000 in the small blind and Pamplona called. Munot then jammed all-in and Tan called to send Pamplona into agony.

He was visibly annoyed and then folded the J♥J♦ face-up with the words "how can I call?"

In the final hand of the level, Bien Mai defended the big blind against a button raise of Andy Li and they got it in after the Q♦Q♥3♥ flop with Li at risk for 161,000.
