A Little Duff

The action has really slowed up here over the last hour, with no player able to get much momentum going. In a recent pot, Hoang Anh Do raised the button to 105,000 and Alistair Duff made the call in the small blind to see a flop of {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

Duff check-called for 130,000 before both players checked the {5-Clubs} turn. The river fell the {9-Hearts} and Duff led out for just 100,000, but that was enough to force a fold from Do.

Duff Rising

Hoang Anh Do opened the button and Alistair Duff three-bet to 265,000 from the small blind. Nicholas Wong got out of the way in the big blind and Do made the call as a {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop was dealt.

Duff checked the flop and then called a bet of 215,000 by Do. When the {2-Hearts} hit the turn, Duff again checked and this time so too would Do.

The {2-Diamonds} on the river paired up the board and again Duff would check. Do also checked again and Duff turned over his {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. It was too strong for Do as he sent his cards into the muck and sent the pot to Duff.

More Do

Hoang Anh Do min-raised the button and, not one to give up his blinds easily, Nicholas Wong made the call to see a flop of {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

Both players checked and the {q-Clubs} hit the turn. Wong checked and Do slid 150,000 across the betting line. Wong matched the bet and the river brought the {J-Hearts}. It looked like an interesting card, but Wong checked and immediately folded when Do reached for chips.

Small One For Wong

Nicholas Wong opened with a raise to 95,000 from the small blind with Hoang Anh Do calling in the big. They took a flop of {3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Wong check-called a bet of 75,000 from Do. Both players checked the {3-Diamonds} turn before the {8-Hearts} landed on the river.

Wong fired out a bet of 270,000 which was too much for Do.

Excitement

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

The most exciting hand we have seen in over 20 minutes has just occurred and maybe even the only flop we've seen in just as long. It started when Hoang Anh Do raised out of the small blind. Alistair Duff was in the big blind and a {2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop was dealt.

On the flop, Do checked and Duff bet 110,000. Do then insta-raised to 25,000. It was enough to scare Duff away as his cards went flying into the muck.

Crawling

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Since Hoang Anh Do and Nicholas Wong couldn't stop battling it out, the play has slowed to an absolute crawl. We have barely seen a flop in the last ten minutes.
