Sangeeth Mohan Eliminated in 10th Place (HKD 155,500)

The action was folded to Sangeeth Mohan on the button and he opened it to 110,000. Kai Yat Fam was in the small blind and he three-bet 170,000 more. Mohan then four-bet another 330,000 and a huge pot was building.

Flop: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Yat Fam checked and this is when Mohan shoved his stack all in. Yat Fam quickly made the call and turned over his {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for a massive royal flush draw, while Mohan held {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for a set of queens.

The turn housed the {2-Diamonds} and when the river didn't pair up the board, it was all over for Mohan as he exits the building in 10th place. Yat Fam now has a staggering chip stack of more than 4 million and with that, we have our final table here at the 2011 APPT Macau Main Event!

Tan Taking Chips

The action was folded to Zheng Tai Tan on the dealer button and he raised it up to 105,000. The small blind got out of the way and the action was on David Steicke in the big blind. After thinking for some time and looking towards his opponent's stack, Steicke announced he was all in. Tai Tan snap called.

Steicke: {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Tai Tan: {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Steicke was in front for now but when the board ran out {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}, it was a big dent to Steicke's stack and a nice chip up for Tai Tan.

Steicke's Kicker is Better

Zheng Tai Tan raised to 87,000 and David Steicke called in position. Everyone else folded and the flop came down {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Tan took a minute and then bet 57,000. Steicke tanked for a little, then tossed in two blue T1,000 chips to signify that he was making the call.

After the rest of the call amount was put in, the dealer dealt the {A-Hearts} on the turn. Tan took some more time before sliding out a bet of 155,000. Steicke paused for a few moments, then flung a single yellow T5,000 chips into the middle to signify a call on this round.

The dealer placed the {6-Hearts} on the river. Tan flung out just one chip this time, a red T25,000 one. Steicke made the call. With the big blind being 40,000, Tan's river bet was ruled to be the minimum of 40,000. He showed the {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, but his seven kicker wasn't good against the {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for Steicke.
