Jeff Rossiter Eliminated in 3rd Place (HKD 1,306,000)

Jeff Rossiter - 3rd place
Jeff Rossiter - 3rd place

Jeff Rossiter was holding the short stack after losing a big pot to Randy Lew a few hands ago and as such he was bound to get his chips all in shortly. Well, shortly has come and gone and it's resulted in an elimination.

Rossiter shoved the button holding {10-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Jimmy Pan made the call in the small blind holding {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} with Rossiter out of his seat and leaving the table as soon as he caught site of the ace.

Huge Double for Lew

Randy Lew
Randy Lew

Randy Lew raised from the button to 320,000. Jeff Rossiter reraised to 755,000 from the small blind. Jimmy Pan folded from the big blind and then Lew four-bet to 1.32 million. Rossiter moved all in and Lew quickly called.

Lew: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Rossiter: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}

This was a massive flip with all of Lew's chip on the line as he was the shorter stack. The board ran out {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{K-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Lew has successfully dodged all he needed to in order to double up. Rossiter was crushed back to about one million in chips.

Rossiter And Randy Swap Chips

When the action was folded to Randy Lew in the small blind, he shoved his stack all in and Jeff Rossiter snapped him off extremely quickly, flinging his cards immediately onto the flop.

Lew: {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Rossiter: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, good enough to take down the pot and put a dent in Rossiter's hand.

Move Over Lew

We caught the action on the turn with a board showing {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades} and a big pot building between Jimmy Pan and Randy Lew.

On the turn, Pan slid out 345,00. Lew made the call and a {k-Clubs} landed on the river . Pan then cut out a large pile of chips and slid them out onto the felt. The bet was 1,285,000 and it didn't take too long for Lew to make the call.

Pan turned over {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flopped flush and sent Lew's cards into the muck to take down the big pot.

Lew Gets Chips

A raised pot saw Randy Lew and Jimmy Pan take to a flop which showed {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. At this point Pan led for 345,000. Lew made the call and both players checked on the {7-Spades} turn and watched as the {j-Spades} landed on the river.

On the river, Pan decided to bet again, throwing out 650,000. Lew quickly made the call and tabled his {j-Hearts}{3-Spades}. It was too strong for the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} Pan who took the hit to his stack.

Jimmy V. Jeff

Just a few moments ago it was looking like we would be down to heads-up. Jimmy Pan was all in holding {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and was up against the {j-Clubs}{q-Spades} of Jeff Rossiter and unfortunately for Pan, the flop looked like this - {4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

Luckily enough the {a-Diamonds} hit the turn and Pan would stay alive as the monster stack of Jeff Rossiter took s bit of a hit.
