Craib Stays Alive on the River

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

We’ve been five-handed for a long time now, but the double ups continue with Fabian Craib getting in on the act against Michael Kanaan. It was a real sweat where he had to wait until the river before breathing a sigh of relief.

The hand started with Michael Kanaan opening to 200,000 from the button. Craib three-bet all in from the small blind for 1,625,000 and Kanaan made the call.

Craib: {A-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Kanaan: {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Craib was looking good until the {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop paired up Kanaan’s eight to take the lead, but Craib did pick up a flush draw. The {j-Spades} bricked the turn but the river was the {k-Spades} to give Craib the winning pair to double up to 3.5 million. Kanaan slips to 4 million.

Hachem Doubles.. Again!

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded around to Iori Yogo on the small blind, who moved all-in, covering the stack of Anthony Hachem. He looked down, and made the quick call, as both players tabled their cards.

Hachem: {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Yogo: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Hachem found himself in front again, but the {J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop saw Yogo receive several extra outs. The {A-Diamonds} on the turn paired Hachem, who now had to dodge a seven or queen to win the pot. The {10-Diamonds} paired Yogo on the river, but it wasn't enough, as he took a big hit to his stack, as Hachem doubles once more in a short space of time.

Hachem Doubles

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Anthony Hachem decided to move all-in from the cut-off for his last 610,000 in chips, and was called by Fabian Craib on the big blind.

Hachem: {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Craib: {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Hachem was behind, but the {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop gave him outs to a flush and straight. The {4-Diamonds} missed him completely, but the {5-Hearts} on the river gave him the win, with his 10-deep rail jumping out of their chairs and roaring with excitement.

A Chop!

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

The action started with Fabian Craib opening to 200,000 from the button, before being met with a raise to 600,000 from Iori Yogo in the small blind. Anthony Hachem was short-stacked, and moved all in for his last 565,000 in chips, as Craib eventually got out of the way.

Hachem: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Yogo: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

With the same hand, the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} to see both players chop the hand.

Craib Caught

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Iori Yogo opened to 200,000 from under the gun and was called by Fabian Craib in the blinds. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts} as Craib check-called a 250,000 continuation bet from Yogo as the turn brought the {4-Hearts}. Both checked as the river brought the {J-Diamonds}. This time Craib led out for 350,000 and was called instantly as he tabled his {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Yogo showed {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two-pairs, as he took down the pot.

Ace-High is Good

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Michael Kanaan opened to 200,000 from under the gun and was called by Iori Yogo on the button, as well as Michel Bouskila on the big blind. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Bouskila checked. Kanaan threw out a continuation bet of 300,000 which was called by both players almost instantly. The three were then happy to check it down as the {5-Spades} and {2-Diamonds} completed the board.

Kanaan was first to show, as he tabled {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for ace-high. Bouskila folded and Yogo didn’t appear like rolling his cards over.

“Surely not, run good!” said Hachem, as Yogo’s cards went into the muck.
