Gary Bertram Eliminated in 10th Place (£7,330)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Gary Bertram
Gary Bertram

Egidijus Alsauskas raised to 75,000 from under the gun and Manuel Bueno three-bet to 250,000 out of the small blind. Gary Bertram four-bet all in for around 600,000 in the big blind and Alsauskas folded, Bueno called.

Gary Bertram: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Manuel Bueno: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

It was a classic flip and the {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board failed to improve Bertram, who has been eliminated in 10th place for £7,330.

All remaining nine players will now be on a break until 7.15 p.m. local time, then redraw for the final table and move their chips towards the feature table area.

Bueno on Four Million

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Manuel Bueno raised it up from under the gun and Leon Louis defended the small blind. On a {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, Louis check-raised from 80,000 to 220,000 and Bueno made the call.

The {8-Diamonds} turn was checked through and Louis used one time bank on the {2-Clubs} river before checking. Bueno checked back to get shown the {10-Spades}{8-Spades} and Bueno had that beat with {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} for aces up.

Bueno Pulls Further Ahead

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, a pot of half a million emerged to the {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} river and Bhavin Khatri checked over to Manuel Bueno. The German bet 425,000 and received a call to roll over the {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a straight as the winning hand.

Bueno was also involved in the next hand and lost a small chunk of his profit when Egidijus Alsauskas flopped two pair with {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, they checked the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Spades} river.

Andrew Connell Eliminated in 11th Place (£7,330)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Andrew Connell
Andrew Connell

Andrew Connell had been bleeding chips and went through the blinds to see his stack reduced to very few big blinds.

Nikolay Ponomarev raised and called the shove of Connell for 105,000 total in the small blind.

Andrew Connell: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Nikolay Ponomarev: {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop instantly improved Ponomarev to a pair of aces and he remained in the lead on the {3-Hearts} turn and {5-Diamonds} river run out. He will be collecting a payday of £7,330 to take back home to New Zealand.

Scott Berko Eliminated in 12th Place (£7,330)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Scott Berko
Scott Berko

Scott Berko raised it up to 60,000 and Egidijus Alsauskas three-bet the button to 190,000. Berko moved all in for around 800,000 and Alsauskas called.

Scott Berko: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Egidijus Alsauskas: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Berko was ahead and the {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop provided an additional flush draw. The {3-Diamonds} turn came a blank and Alsauskas had two outs, one of them came on the {a-Diamonds} river to bust Berko in brutal fashion. For his 12th place finish, he takes home £7,330.
