Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Matthew Anderson raised to 75,000 with 300,000 behind in the cutoff and Bhavin Khatri jammed the big blind. Anderson used three time bank extensions and folded {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, Khatri showed the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

One table over, Gary Bertram raised and called a three-bet to 95,000 by Egidijus Alsauskas. They checked the {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop and Bertram check-folded the {9-Spades} turn to a bet of 125,000.

Man Luk
Man Luk

Man Luk jammed for 161,000 from early position and George Demetriou reshoved the cutoff with all but Ion Albu behind him as shorter stacks. Manuel Bueno called all-in out of the small blind and the cards were tabled.

Man Luk: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
George Demetriou: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Manuel Bueno: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

"I am winning? Well, at least for now, how is that possible?" Luk gasped as he was ahead against two opponents.

The board came {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Bueno spiked the two-outer on the river to eliminate Luk in 22nd place for £3,990. He also doubled through Demetriou for 462,000 to skyrocket above one million in chips.

Teresa Purti Eliminated in 23rd Place (£3,990)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Teresa Purti
Teresa Purti

After getting through with a jam once a few minutes ago, Teresa Purti was all in for 229,000 on the button and Bhavin Khatri in the big blind glanced at his cards, then snap-called.

Teresa Purti: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Bhavin Khatri: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

It was a near-worst case scenario for the 888poker qualifier from Spain, who had carefully navigated her short stack through most of Day 2. The {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop sparked some hope with aa gutshot but both the {4-Clubs} turn and {6-Diamonds} river came blank to eliminate Purti in 23rd place for £3,990.

Albu Wins Two Pots

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Ion Albu raised to 35,000 from under the gun and Man Luk in the cutoff called. On the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop Albu continued for 30,000 and was called to see the {8-Diamonds} turn go check, check. After the {5-Diamonds} river, Albu used one time bank and bet 165,000, Luk called.

Albu turned over the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a full house and dragged in a healthy pot.
