Razvan Cirstian, Raoul Iancovici and defending champion Andrei Racolta have been eliminated. Mihai Niste confirmed what had happened to Racolta, as he received the chips and was still joking with him in Romanian while the next hand was about to kick off.

According to Niste, he opened with ace-queen and called the three-bet jam by Racolta, who had pocket nines and lost the flip.
