The 2018 888poker LIVE Festival London at the Aspers Casino has kicked off with a bang, as the €220 Opening Event easily surpassed the guaranteed prize pool of £1,000 thanks to 887 total entries, creating a prize pool of £165,726. The top nine spots were paid and the final six players cut an ICM deal.
Imran Bhaiya secured the biggest payday with £24,410, however, he had to settle for second place and it was Arvydas Budvytis that eventually posed for the winner shots. Among the finalists was also UK's Kfir Ivgi, who has some $300,000 in cashes on the liver circuit to his name.

Highlights of the festival at the complex in Westfield Stratford City are the £2,200 High Roller and the £1,100 Main Event. The former kicks off today at 7 p.m. local time and nine levels of 30 minutes each are scheduled for today and wraps up the next day. Day 1a of the Main Event, which features a guarantee of £400,000, is also set to get underway on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 with four further starting days scheduled.
Besides the 888poker ambassadors, the 2018 and 2017 WSOP Main Event champions John Cynn and 2017 Scott Blumstein have also already confirmed their attendance for the festival.
All players in the £2,200 High Roller will receive 100,000 in chips and unlimited re-entries are allowed during the registration period, which remains open until the start of Day 2 at 6 p.m. local time the next day. All tournaments of the festival are played with the Action Clock and the Main Event, as well as the High Roller, also feature a big blind ante.
