Markus Greinwald Emphatic in Victory

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

With the board reading {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} Marcus Greinwald bet 41,000 into a pot of no more than 40,000. His opponent seated at the far end of the table called. The river was the {q-Hearts} and Greinwald bet 101,000 out of a stack of 160,000. His opponent instantly called and Greinwald slammed {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} down on the table for a full house.

His opponent look stunned for a moment, and then proceeded to count out his opponent's double up. "Nice river," he said, handing the chips over.

Perez Up Over One Million Chips

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Ruben Perez
Ruben Perez

In the rush to bring you the bubble hand, we neglected to bring you another hand between Ruben Perez and Nikolai Bozic. On a board of {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} Perez had bet 180,000 into a pot of over 300,000 and Bozic was contemplating a call.

"Do you have [kqhh]?" asked Bozic. Eventually he called and mucked when Perez showed {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two pair.

A short while after the bubble broke, we saw Perez rake in another huge pot, increasing his stack into seven-figure territory. That means he has around 5% of the chips in play, with 76 players still left

Sergiy Topchiy Eliminated by Bartosz Szafraniec to Burst Bubble

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Sergey Topchiy
Sergey Topchiy

In the first hand of hand-for-hand, it folded to Sergey Topchiy in the small blind who moved all-in for 56,000. Bartosz Szafraniec was in the big blind and snap-called, but the action was paused until all other tables were finished.

When action had finished at all the tables, Topchiy's cards were turned over first revealing {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Szafraniec's {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

The flop came {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}. "Free-roll! Free-roll" said Topchiy. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and the river the {j-Hearts} meaning Topchiy was eliminated and Szafraniec took a small boost to his already huge chipstack.

Hoffmann Takes from Kazhdan

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Simon Hoffmann
Simon Hoffmann

On a board reading {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} Simon Hoffmann bet 50,000 using two of the shiny new 25-000 value pink chips which have been brought into play at the previous break.

His opponent Igor Kazhdan had improved from his overnight stack during the first three levels, and was looking to make a move up the leaderboard now that less than 90 players remain.

Kazhdan thought over his decision for a while before calling. Hoffmann showed {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Kazhdan sighed, flinging one-by-one the {k-Hearts} then the {q-Diamonds} across the table, and then counting out the chips to pay Hoffmann. At the end of all that, Kazhdan is back to where he started the day with 190,000 in chips and Hoffmann moves over 600,000, nearly double what he started the day with.

Big Stacks Go To Work

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Ruben Perez
Ruben Perez

Nikolai Bozic raised to 18,500 from the cutoff. The button called, as did Ruben Perez from the big blind. Perez had recently take some chips off of Juan Carlos Vecino, as the two of them continue their battle at the top of the chip counts.

The flop was {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} and it checked to Bozic who bet 28,000. The button folded and Perez called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and again Perez checked to Bozic who bet 55,000. Perez called.

With just under 250,000 chips in the pot, the river was the {4-Spades} and Perez checked a third time. This time Bozic bet 140,000 and Perez went into the tank.

Having come into the day with the chip lead of 426,500, Perez could fall back to around that amount if he called and was wrong. Bozic, on the other hand, came into the day with just 175,000 and has shot up to be challenging the chip leaders.

In the end Perez folded, and Bozic stack his chips up as the players prepared to go on break.
