More Than €2 Million Will Be Won at the German Poker Championship
King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic is gearing up to host the inaugural German Poker Championship, a €1 million guaranteed tournament that comes under the partypoker LIVE umbrella.
The German Poker Championship costs €2,200 to buy into and, as mentioned, has a guaranteed prize pool weighing in at one million Euros. For the first time in King’s Casino history, the German Poker Championship will be a “mulitphase” event much like partypoker LIVE’s other events.
Multiphase tournaments have several live and online Phase 1s, in this case they cost €220 to enter, and players who progress from the Phase 1 take their chips through with them to an online or live Day 1. From Day 2 onwards, the tournament is played at the luxurious King’s Casino, which boasts of the largest card room in Europe; players can buy into Day 1 directly for €2,200.
Satellites tournaments to the Phase 1s are available online at partypoker from only €2.20, giving players of all bankroll sizes the opportunity to experience playing in a major tournament with a massive prize pool.
In addition to the €1 million guaranteed German Poker Championship, there are five side events and King’s Casino’s famous 24/7 cash games running. At one end of the buy-in spectrum is the GPC Mini with a €220 buy-in and a €200,000 guarantee, then at the other end is the €25,000 buy-in Super High Roller where at least €500,000 will be won.
